The Perfect Horse
Are you looking for the perfect horse? Well trained, well gaited, no vices, doesn't need
to get out much, never have to lunge it, fine after a long vacation, surefooted, all your friends can ride? Steers itself,
you don't even need to use your legs or reins. Doesn't matter if its windy or cold, hot or buggy, it's
the same everyday. A Gelding between 8-10, not too old, not too young? Perfect in almost everyway. You don't want to get
hurt, but you don't have the time to prepare the horse before you ride. Well this is the closest thing I could find and
I bought one for my friends child.
And they just love it!!!
Horses need to get out, they need work to be good, you can't expect them to do what no other living creature
can do and that is to be well behaved, well trained and perfect, but to do it completely on their own. Your car doesn't
even do this, you need a tuneup, a mechanic, etc. to keep your car running in its best shape.
Its called riding, because you need to ride them, they need food, water, care and exercise, they need someone to
show them how to behave, when they get out of line or pushy, even a 40,000 dollar horse with tons of training can turn
into an ill mannered mess without the right handling.
If your not willing
to put in the effort to care for your horse, then get one of these, they are fun to ride, there is no upkeep and its pretty
hard to fall off unless your drunk. He can even live in your house, how's that for cheap? So be realistic when you
are buying a horse, get what you need, not what you want, because can you really ride that forward well gaited show horse,
or the talented dressage horse that can go to 4th level? Those horses will have too many buttons, and when you push
the wrong ones, will you be able to handle it?
If your not going to
ride much you need an old horse, if you have no clue what your doing, you need a well trained horse and a trainer, and if
your not going to put in any effort then get the rocking horse, they even nicker and swish their tails, like a real horse.
