Legend

Hi, just been thinking that you must wonder how Legend is doing, so I thought I'd send a quick note to let you know that he's fantastic!  He's living at a wonderful facility in Palo Alto (Portola Pastures) with great trail access, and I can tell that he's happiest when we're out on a trail ride.  He's only a few minutes away from my work, and I manage to sneak out for a few hours to go spend time with him pretty much every day.  I go out for a substantial trail ride three times a week or so, and just kick around bareback a couple days a week too.  I got some of the hoof boots for our long trail rides, and he's basically willing to go anywhere and do anything...goes out fine alone or with other horses, though I did experience his competitiveness first hand once when we were riding side by side with a super athletic Irish Sporting Horse who Legend is great friends with.   He's in amazing shape, and I can't believe how strong and healthy he is!  I have not had any problems with him at all and feel so lucky to have found him!  He's a big charmer and seems to win everyone over everywhere we go.  He's a real barn favorite and everyone adores his tricks!

Just wanted to update you on Buddy's progress. Went out on a trail ride with a friend and her young horse today.  Buddy was a champ.  He remained calm and quiet whenever her poor horse fretted over the cows. Never got upset or wound up at all.

Coming home Buddy was at a WALK, no jigging!!! Hurray!!  A few times Buddy tried to lift his head to look around, but soon stopped.  I had the most enjoyable trail ride I have had in ages with a young horse mind you!

I can't believe how quickly we are seeing great results from your guidance. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We'll keep at it and hope to start introducing some trotting and walk transition before too long.

You are something else...in the past 3 days since I met you, you have
filled me with so much more knowledge about horses via your horse

I wanted to express my appreciation for meeting
         you and Boccelli
today.  As I thought when I read your website, you are such a natural
and the results you get from your loving horses are because of what you
give them....what they give you back is pure love and wanting to please
you in all ways.  You can put all the old training ways and Parelli and

the rest to shamebocelli.JPEG. you have so much wisdom and generosity...you are primo and so kind...thank you.

I hope all is well for you! I wanted to let you know
  I've been doing the
Parelli program, and we just passed Level 1. I am now
  working on Level 2
with Traveler. He's been so great and willing, and I
just feel like we really got the perfect horse for us.
I would definitely recommend your horses to anyone.

This comment is from a woman who had a winning show horse but it did not have a good foundation and needed some manners.  I  retrained him in about  6 weeks.

 Hi there,

Just want to thank you for the most awesome horse ever!!!!! We are having a great time together. Today I called him to hitching post and he walked over, I didn't tie him he just stood there for me. He loves to ride. We canter alot its my favorite.  Love to go fast for a while and then say whoa, really quite  hysterical. He stops pretty fast. (She now rides him in a snaffle bit.)

Update - she called to ask if i would introduce him to the cows so she could start team penning. I did a follow up visit with her horse and the cows. She took him in a lesson the next day and said he did great and loved to push the cows. She is now taking weekly lessons, working the cows and making up for all the time she didn't ride him.
