Welcome to my website!

I only sell 1-2 horses at a time. My horses are trained using natural horsemanship techniques. They have solid foundations, calm temperaments and lots of exposure in the arena and on the trail. They all have had extensive ground work. I will not sell a horse until I have ridden it extensively and trained it. This is the only way I can honestly represent the horse and make sure rider and horse fit. If you buy one of my horses, I am always available to answer questions and give guidance as needed. I am proud of each horse I sell and I only want the best for the owner and the horse. I believe education is key to success with a rider and a horse. The better you understand horse behavior and instinct, the better rider you are and the better you can communicate with the horse, the safer and more enjoyable the ride.

My horses will be able to be ridden alone and with other horses on the trail, on a loose rein.  They  have seen bikes, hikers, coyotes,  cows, traffic, four wheelers and dogs.  Some have even seen  rattlesnakes. .They go thru water, (if water is available for me to test it) trailer, tie, cross tie, stand in the wash rack, clip, walk on a loose lead and lunge. They will be respectful and kind horses.  Most of them will also do some tricks as well - kiss, hug, and bow.

I recommend all customers take lessons, go to clinics or have a trainer after they buy my horses, since most problems that come up with horses are easily solved when you have some one with experience to help you. Many people, although they have ridden for years, do not have the best horse sense. And although gaited horses and quarter horses have great temperaments, they are still living creatures and you need to understand how to communicate with them. Horses will test you everyday, and they will either get better or worse as they are in your care. Don't you want to have the best horse?

How many lessons and or test drives did you have before you began driving a car? You wouldnt just jump in a car without having any idea how to operate it would you and take it on the highway.

Yet that is what people do with horses, they jump on them and off they go on the trail without any sense of how to steer, stop, circle, back up, sidepass etc. The key is to get a good horse but then to learn how to ride and care for it. You do not want to learn from mistakes, as mistakes with horses can cause serious injury and Sally your friend at the barn is not the best person to teach you how to ride and make your horse do things, that is why there are  instructors. Sally might pretend she knows what she is doing, but usually the people who bud in and tell you what to do, are usually the last ones you want to listen to. Pay someone good to teach you, learn from the best and become the best you can be. You will have so much fun, you won't believe it.

I also do take horses into training, if interested go  to the training page for more information or for training tips and videos.

Above are pictures and video of my first gaited horse Legend, he taught me  about gaited horses,  and how to teach them to gait, he could only trot when I got him. He also helped me to find natural horsemanship and how to solve behavior problems. I previously had ridden hunter/jumpers and dressage.  I am forever greatful to have owned him. He went to a wonderful home and has taken his new owner on many new adventures.
