So What's Different Between Me and Other Sellers?
I only have 2-4 horses. Otherwise I cannot spend enough time with them. I spend several hours a day with each horse, so 4 horses adds up to 8 hours or more a day.
If you see a sight that has a lot of horses, the horses are either not getting out a lot or many people are riding them.
I usually have my horses for longer, average time is 3 months. I vet check them, vaccinate them, do their teeth and feet and give them good care and feed.
I train them in the arena, as well as the trail no matter how much experience they have, so I know what the horse is really like. I ride them myself, I do not have other people riding the horses. So any good behavior or bad behavior, I will know it. When a bunch of different people ride a horse, the seller cannot truly know the horse, unless they do all the riding.
They all have a good foundation. I take many videos so you can see what the horse has seen and where he has been. I load them in my little 2 horse trailer, not a big stock trailer so you see how they really load. I also do not use crazy obstacles to present how they are on trail, I actually show you them on trail with video.
They know the basics in the arena. How to make circles, bend, serpentine, leg yield, side pass, turn on the forehand and the hindquarter, they have a good stop, back up well, stand for mounting and even sidle up to the mounting block for you. They gait in the arena, they will do a trail walk, a flat walk and a running walk or fox trot or saddle gait. They will canter on both leads. They will park out if ever needed because you can't get on from the ground.
They are use to dogs, cows, wild life. They are use to bikes, hikers, people with walking sticks, traffic, beach. If anything is scary on the trail, I always go towards it to expose the horse to as many things as I can. It also test how they do under stress and what the horse can handle.
They can open gates. They have been on lots of trails and trailer well. They will have good and willing temperaments.
Then I will teach you how to ride them and try and stay in touch in case you need help in the future. I am always around if a tune up is needed or vacation care. In times of trouble I can help you evaluate your horse or to sell your horse.
I have many references from previous clients, but you can also see them and their horses in many of my videos. Many of them were beginners but they are now safe trail riders, who know more then many people who have had horses all their life.
I try to match the horse as best as I can with the rider. I always try to have them try the horse at least several times in the arena and on the trail, so they really know what the horse is like. I also recommend to take lessons from me before they take the horse home.
Most people think a trail horse should be cheap, since it is not showing. This is not correct, a great trail horse is worth its weight in gold. A great trail horse needs to be safer than an arena horse. There are no fences to stop you on the trail, in the arena you are confined to that area.
A great trail horse needs a good and willing temperament. A great trail horse has lots of good training and experience on the trail. A great trail horse has a good foundation. You need all of this on trail. If your horse does not listen, does not back up or move its shoulders or hindquarters, you will not be able to control it on the trail.
A great trail horse has talent and a smooth gait. A great trail horse will keep you safe and make you happy. Contact me if your interested in one of my horses or have any questions. No Horse will be held without a non refundable deposit. HAPPY TRAILS!
One of my client's described what I do like this, it's like buying a used car, buy the certified pre-owned that's been through all the tune ups, cleaned and ready to safely drive away. Or pay less for a total money pit and the paper clips holding the water pump together will break a week later.

I sold this horse when he was 4 years old. This is a recent video. He is now 13 and still a love bug!
